4 Cubes of Butter On Your Body -- Why?

In EBT we don't focus on weight loss early in the training because, what's the point? Sure you lose weight, but you'll regain it, because the wiring of stress is still sitting there inside you triggering appetites and favoring each extra French fry going to fat. Toward the end of training, when we are wired at 1, the weight falls off. Someone in the group today talked about putting on genes, and realizing they were way to big. However, even late in the training certain neural circuits that promote weight gain are still rattling around. One activity we use during that time is to imagine that tucked under the skin are four cubes of frozen butter for each extra pound of weight. They are historical, born of the past, but we are still housing them, rent free. Another vision is to put all the extra weight in a backpack, and then hoist it on your back and carry it around all day. How is that for you? We don't use this early in the training because when we are wired for stress, the chemical inducements to overeat and stick with a body size over our genetic body build are too great, but later on it can trigger realizations. Yes, I don't need that extra weight . . .and the motivation to separate from it out of one thing: self-love.
