Washed Lettuce - It's a New World

Washed Lettuce - It's a New World

Just got home from our 4th session of the UCSF NIH COAST study on EBT and pregnant women. The study is looking at "non-homeostatic eating" in overweight women, and obesity in pregnant women is an important health issue.
There I was, at Brain State 3, tired, injured hip hurting, and with plenty of grilled chicken from the last night's festivities in the fridge. Plus there was washed lettuce, perfect with a sliced tomato, some avocado, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
I remember Gloria Steinem saying, "The only people who don't think who does the dishes matter are people who don't do dishes." Perhaps that's the same for lettuce, too.
